Keyboard
In our technology rich world, most of our DoDEA students enter school having experienced technology in their homes. As we utilize technology across all curricular areas, keyboarding effectively is essential for student success. Students who cannot rapidly and accurately input information are at a disadvantage as they use curricular software or complete classroom assignments and projects.

As online assessments become more prevalent, students may not have enough time to demonstrate their proficiency if they cannot keyboard efficiently. To prepare our students for the 21st century, DoDEA is implementing a new program to ensure that all of our elementary students learn to keyboard proficiently and efficiently.
